JOB SUMMARY 
 
ESCO Plastics, part of Colson Group, is investing in a new automated polyurethane manufacturing line at its Magnolia, Texas facility. This strategic expansion will introduce advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and modern production processes to support future business growth. Team members joining this project will have the unique opportunity to help build a new operation from the ground up, work with state-of-the-art equipment, develop new skills, and contribute to one of the company's most important growth initiatives. 
 
The Polyurethane Finishing & Demolding Operator assembles molds, supports curing and post-curing operations, demolds polyurethane wheels, trims and finishes parts, performs visual inspections, and moves work-in-process materials throughout production while maintaining safe handling practices. This is an onsite, first shift position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM with overtime as required. Pay for this role is $14.00 per hour.

 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 

  • Assemble, prepare, handle, and stage molds, cores, fixtures, trays, and tooling. 
  • Support tunnel curing and post-curing operations, including loading, unloading, and monitoring controls. 
  • Safely demold polyurethane wheels using approved methods and tools. 
  • Trim, clean, deburr, remove flash, and finish parts according to specifications. 
  • Perform visual inspections for defects, contamination, curing issues, and nonconforming conditions. 
  • Move WIP materials between production departments as required. 
  • Maintain molds, tools, ovens, benches, and work areas in organized condition. 
  • Record production progress, WIP status, curing data, and quality concerns. 
  • Assist other production departments during startup and ramp-up activities. 
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, knives, fixtures, and material handling equipment. 
  • Ability to work around hot molds, ovens, and heated parts while using PPE. 
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to follow work instructions and production schedules. 
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Molding, demolding, trimming, finishing, thermal processing, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Additional technical training preferred.
